Workshop Web Page
We now have a web page for the workshop (obviously). Some of the information is currently tentative, especially the workshop program, but we'll update it as things firm up. [21 February, 2008]

Workshop Goals

The workshop has two main goals: to allow participants in the
2008 ICRA Robot Challenge to present their technical results, and to discuss and plan for future ICRA Robot Challenges.

The workshop is open to any member of the ICRA community who is interested in either the technical results of the 2008 Challenge, or in the future of the event. Presentations will be limited to teams participating in the 2008 Challenge and invited speakers. However, there will be ample opportunity for members of the community to voice their opinions during discussion sessions during the workshop.

The long-term success of the ICRA robot challenge depends on support from the entire ICRA community. We encourage everyone who is interested to sign up for the workshop, and to share their insights and ideas with us.

Participation

Participation in the workshop is open to the whole ICRA community. Presentations, however, will be limited to teams competing in the 2008 Challenge events, and to a small number of invited speakers.

The workshop will include several discussion and planning sessions, where attendees can share their ideas and give feedback about the Challenge events. In many ways, these will be the most important sessions for the workshop, and for the long-term success of the Challenge. If you have opinions about the Challenge, or want to help us with future events, please come to the workshop and share your insights and opinions.
